I do like this idea of having a club, or sort of "extra benefit group" type thing but I'm buying the whole... well, "Buying it" part I was always hoping for hoping for somthing like this but for Vet players, seemingly as we know most about the game, we'd get the most benefits and acces to future update Betas and such.

still, I'll most likely buy in. just like to give my spill ;)

It sounds to me like you are just complaining over not being offered these things for free just because you pay the $5 rate. May I remind you that you ALREADY get a discount and yet still demand that Jagex hand everything to you guys for free. A lot of people have played the same or perhaps longer than you but maybe have had membership lapse for over a week and thus would get nothing. That sound fair to you?

Even if other people have to pay less for the same thing, well boo hoo. Sometimes life isn't fair. Be grateful that you still can continue to have a less expensive $5 a month to pay for membership. Reply

Wow, from patronizing to rude in a few short pages. Sadly when some people have no reasonable arguement they resort to throwing stones. You still have no clue to my arguement, but you certainly have told me alot about you, how you feel about those who have continuous long time membership and how you would feel if you were in my place.

Oh wow will we get loyalty program benefits! No? You have already forgotten about that system that you put into the game to try to keep memberships? So how long until you forget about your other systems that you put into effect to get more money.

Do you guys just like putting stuff into the game and then forgetting about it, feel almost like an old person who thinks there buying a timeshare only to find out your company address doesnt even exist.

How long till you guys forget about Squeel and Solomon cause you think of another way to get more money.

I remember back when membership was all you needed for beta and to feel like you were getting everything out of your game......

Top of that how long till you get rid of F2P make P2P what free use to be and make this "premium" P2P

GJ guys really feel like im getting nothing for my years of playing this game just because i dont want to shell out a year of monthly fee's in one payment.

Unlike a lot of posters, I don't have a problem with the package membership being a bit more than the grandfathered rate that I currently pay (£3.20) - Jagex could have increased my fees when they increased them for new members so I look at it as having saved money over the last few years.

My only worry is that, if I do take out the gold package, Jagex will take this as me approving of RWT and I definitely don't! I don't mind Solomon's so much because that hasn't offered anything but cosmetic items (except, are the new pets REALLY just cosmetic?). SoF, on the other hand, blatantly offers ingame advantage for real world money (shame on you, Jagex!!!)

However, having said all that, I'll probably take the gold package and assume that I'll go back to my old membership rate in 12 months.

If you call that throwing stones you haven't been on forums much lol. I have no problem with people like you being given a grandfathered rate but my point is you should be grateful for that, not be holding out your hands demanding more. A lot of us who don't have a lot of money would love to go back to paying that rate.

By the way, you know nothing about me so don't pretend to. :P

I might buy this but only if you guys @ Jagex can throw in a few good exp lamps (Which give at least your level times 25 in a skill of your choice). You could give us 1 lamp each month for 12 months. And for people 'Going for the Gold' why not throw in at least 25000 coins per month as well? It would really make this whole membership package deal this much more worth the cost of 75 dollars.
