Today on Runescape: Jagex slaps its loyal players in the face with their ugly disgusting kocks. They are essentially telling loyal players that they are worth less than anyone willing to pay additional money to a dying company
Keeping around ignorant, gullible children willing to spend 200 dollars a year on spins and useless cosmetics is just much more economical for Jagex and IVP.
A loyal member, of 5,6,7 years who should be the most important bracket in runescape, would normally only fund the game with 60 dollars a year. We are nearly worthless in the eyes of Jagex as we provide them the least amount of the only thing that drives them; money.
Updates to squeal of fortune and Solomons General Store at least twice a week. Promotional experience or other item at least once a week.
Loyalty bonuses? once every two months give or take. Loyalty is no longer considered. The content of the game is no longer considered.
Jagex and IVP do not care about membership even though that is why there company was able to become what it is today.
In the future: solomons/squeal updated 3 times a week.
Bonus xp events every week.
ability to buy in game items that affect gameplay (SGS Pets)
Multi tiered memberships honoring the wealthiest of players.
A broken class system within runescape dependent upon IRL status
A game that has lost all of its morals and runs solely on Microtransactions
