So, um...

In the news post, you have a link posted to a page to buy one of these pages. On the page that link sends you to, there's this nifty little "choose your package" feature at the top of the page. In that feature, the Premium Gold membership states that ALL 2012 promotions are included in the Gold membership. It is still 2012, but the Bloodpouncer is not included. I see no reason to buy a year of membership, go out and buy a card for 3 more months of membership, and then have a monthly subscription on top of those 15 months still active. That's just too much at once. PLEASE add the Bloodpouncer to the Gold membership.

@Truth Forger (p57)

I believe the FAQ states that all of those paying $5 a month would simply go back to paying that at the end of next year. Its just like if you were using a prepaid card it puts your membership fees on pause until the card runs out. So that at least addresses #1 for you.

It does not explicitly say that. It currently says:

What happens to my existing membership?

Any game time you currently have available on your account is simply carried over to the end of the new membership added.
For example, if you have 3 weeks of membership time remaining when you purchase a package, after the Premier Member package game time expires, your membership renewal will simply be pushed back by the same 3 weeks. Simple!

I have to say, this is a great saving over regular membership cost. Having played on Runescape since before I'm willing to admit, it's good to see offers like this hit any game. Some will lament it, by all means, but every game needs income, and every game needs echelons of players.

£45 for a year is £15 cheaper, and the additional benefits are immense already. I only hope Jagex will amend and adjust people who pay these as new developments arise.

On the all, kudos - hope to get the money together to buy it before January ends! Even if I only play 6 months, it will be worth it!

I am really curious which idiot at Jagex came up with this kind of thing
I want updates that arent about Trollomon or SoF damn it not something like this geez
Beta privileges? WHY? GODDAYUMN WHY?! Shouldnt the "Members" of RS get these kind of privileges and some idiotic "Premium" users?
Why do we need membership AND premium (+that other ******** like trollomon or sof)
I really didnt mind SoF coz getting something really valuable cant happen to someone like me and i even didnt mind Salmon coz everything looks crap but this is going too far

It's actually not a bad deal just for the membership if you're paying the new $7.95 price as opposed to the old $5 price. If I were to keep paying the month-by-month fee, over the next 12 months, I would be spending $95.40 on membership. By buying all 12 months at once through this package, I'll only be spending about $75. I'm saving about $20. I dunno what your situation is, but in my world, saving that much money is generally considered a GOOD thing. O_o

Sonson I am the man behind this idea. I posted it in future updates 1 month ago. They said it won't happen but it did. " Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for. " -
