I have thought in the past that it would be nice to be able to just buy a years' worth of membership at a time and then forget about it again, so when I saw this offer, I thought you had finally taken care of that little annoyance - by offering a bonus for a loyal automatic credit card renewal member by saving me a bit of money and (finally!) giving me access to all those benefits you offer to your fly-by-night game card members....
Except....
That there is no savings at all. In fact, the gold membership is $15 more over the year than I am currently paying. How did that happen? No discount, but an increase in fee instead - so all those silly cosmetic thingies that you are trying to toss in are not free at all, they will cost me $15. Oh, and when I come to the end of my one year term, will the membership renew at some new, inflated rate?
Anybody feel like answering these questions?
