That's why we're p'd off lad, because it DID used to be the case that you unlocked everything that was released if you paid the membership fee.

$75?!

I am sorry good sir's and madam's of JaGeX, but if you expect someone to pay 75 dollars for gold membership, you are sorely mistaken.

At the moment, most people in the world are struggling. Here in the UK theres a recession going on and most people need to pay bills. I dont know what its like atm in America, but if you expect to be handed 75 Dollars for people to enter a trip to your HQ, A runecoin pot, 1 extra spin and god knows what else, your living in a dream world.

This is probably the worse update of 2012. Please rethink this jagex. Iced Earth \m/

Give me a scenario where you got stuff for free, "such as if you've been a member for 5 years, you get a game card exclusive item for free"

I'm in the same situation as you, but i don't moan on forums, and yet it makes me sick when people always say "I'm reoccurring, i want everything free".

I don't see whats wrong on saving £15? An Approved Community Project: Molior RS

This update really annoys me because I spent the money cards previously on those exclusive items such as the flaming skull and lightning staff, and buying the gold membership doesn't sound like it'll include this follow year's $25 card item bonuses. The only reason I'm assuming this is because this deal was released along side the deal of buying a $25 card for membership as well as one of soloman's store pets, but doesn't appear to include the pet in buying the membership.

It's just really obnoxious that to get a wide range of items now, players have to funnel cash into the game, which not everyone can afford to do.

Please consider the idea of tracking those who keep membership all of next year and awarding them with these deals instead of putting the ultimatum of buy this now or get no bonuses.

@Kossith It costs more than I currently pay and it gives in game advantages as both SOF and SGS now give in game advantages. I liked when I paid membership and knew I was at a level playing field with all other members. Not that the guy next to me had paid a bit more than me so had a gradually increasing advantage over me in everything.

Since I play a hell-a lot of RS, This is for me...

Ill be getting the "Gold" package as soon as I get paid again ;)

Plus, It saves me worrying about Jagex taking the monthly payment out each month when I have nothing in the Bank.
