After having seen the video of you discussing the “bot” problem in RS, you turned me into a loyal fan/member. I was quite impressed!
First let me point out I do have business experience. I also have “horse sense” as far as life in general =)
I would have said “common sense” but its not common anymore.
Now, having said that I wasn’t a big fan of the “eoc” in beta (obviously all the “glitches) an now in general play it has issues still. I will continue to “deal” with it as I believe you will make the changes where needed.I understand companies like Microsoft, Apple and many others put products out that still have “bugs” usually and if they like playing that “game” fine. I can “wait” until they “fix” the problems.
In the case of RS I already have a significant investment in your game both financially and emotionally!
Expecting me Now to buy another years worth without your fixing most if not all your current “bugs” is going a bit far.
This should not be presented in this form! I do have a suggestion though…
How about looking at your player base and all who have 3 months of membership (currently) get grandfathered or “raised up” to Bronze level and for those with 6 months to silver and so on.!
If you still are going thru with this at least allow us to use the additional method of payment using game cards!
Don’t toss this on top of what your loyal members have endured for so long.
I understand bot fighting is expensive, time consuming and so on as well as moving forward but give your member base a break. Please.
