Where are people pulling their statistics from?
Also, as with many games, a large number of the population do not even visit the forums. Saying that the SOF is undesirable is on thing, but saying 99% of ppl dont like it is just as big of a lie as the supposed feedback jagex got back.
Personally, idc either way. I can complain but its not like I will stop playing. And if you already quit, but are still complaining .. why? Does the wheel effect you even though you are not playing?

Does anybody else get a warm feeling inside when they see noobs moaning on here because they tried to buy success but are unhappy with the undeserved rewards they got?
Anybody who buys spins has more money than sense and deserves every bit of bad luck they get. Long may jagex continue to rob the stupid of their money. No really, I mean it.

I am posting because I read Ormeon's post, and I agree with everything he/she has said, except the part where he/she said jagex is becoming evil.
I think Needy or Greedy are more appropriate words, although I'm more inclined to believe Greedy is more like it, mostly because I saw a very large, bulky looking vehicle, almost like a tank in front of their headquarters, and immediately thought to myself,
"Is that where all our subscriber money is going to? Large, unneeded, and probably expensive adornments to their building?"
That's probably not the case, but I am still rather disapointed at the fact that they decided to make this update after they made spins buyable, it's the ultimate way to troll all players who have bought large amounts of spins.
Besides all that, I'm kind of glad that I'll be able to make large amounts of cash and max out my stats with little effort involved, but mostly because I may finally be able to get my mitts on those coveted demon horns, these curly ones I'm currently wearing are the least attractive, but at least they're horns!

I think it is pretty fair to say the overwhelming majority of responses to this update and the initial release of the SoF is that players don't want it and they find it an incredibly unfair way to acquire wealth, XP and even cosmetic items.
And the ability to buy more spins is just an insult to players who have played Runescape from it's very early days and kept in line with and greatly appreciated the rules of the game regarding not being able to buy advantages and your wealth status in the real world bearing no effect on your game play.
You've slowly but surely changed this though, you're only as good as your word, and Jagex have well and truly gone back on theirs, And worse yet is when the players tell you they don't like something, your responses make me feel like I'm reading two completely different conversations, because we say one thing, you appear to have read another and reply quite often with false points knowing that even if someone calls you out on them you won't have to reply you can just ignore them.
Example, You said the squeal of fortune was liked because of the percentage of players using their free spins. Using up your spins doesn't mean you want this content to stay in the game it means they don't want other players gaining an potential advantage over them. Either you aren't doing the correct research, or you think we are stupid and you can fob us off with half baked nonsense.
If you really wanted to make this content better despite players not liking it, you could have done something like preventing players gaining skill specific XP lamps for skills they have already maxed instead of increasing the cash prizes which most players see as real world trade regardless of whether or not Jagex will admit that's how it is.
even then, the ability to buy spins means buying XP and Items. that's awfully contradictory to the rules you've enforced over the years I've been with you.

I don't have a problem with the SoF. I like it, I really do.
BUT
Look at this forum. The majority of the people posting here don't like it, and think it should be removed completely, or at least the "Buy Spins" option removed. Jagex, you wanted player feedback, you got it, so why won't you use it??? Either use actual feedback, or don't ask for it.
