Very well said
@Mod_Mike and all the other player haters
Do you ever wonder what happened to the "community" in Rune$cape? Seems like the answer is that YOU people happened to it.
I personally can't understand why it is that some people would rather attack others than to ever stop and consider someone else's side of things. Where does all this hate come from? Should hate be coming from the J-mods who are supposed to be representing Jagex? Does a J-mods hateful comments improve Jagex's reputation or do you think that it may have a negative impact?
While many updates, even those in the last year, have been decent, many others have not been, however, regardless of the quality or lack of quality present in the latest updates, the facts remain the same, players are leaving in droves. Perhaps that fact should be taken into consideration during the creative process of the updates. Well liked updates = more players, disliked updates = less players and here's a shocker more players generally = more PAYING players = more $.
Driving off a portion of your player base just because they voice disapproval of recent updates they don't like, even those that are quitting because of them is bad for business. Stubbornly not being willing to sit down and try to make them happy enough to stay is bad for business. Ignoring them or insulting them is bad for business. It would seem this younger, more hateful, less mature "community" is bad for business.
Do you haters really want to drive away such a large number of players, many members, many F2P? do you really want to diminish incoming membership dues Jagex REALLY needs in order to pay down the massive debt IVP dumped onto Jagex during the "friendly" takeover (lbo)?
In essence, all I am trying to say is stop and think before you shoot off your mouth and anger already angry players. Be the "community" that Jagex likes to claim it has.
