STOP THE DOUBLE XP PLEASE ITS RUINING THE GAME
I PLAY RS FOR A CHALLENGE NOT FOR DOUBLE XP,
sure double xp is nice for a weekend but 50% xp for a month, the days of skill on rs and things taken for ever are gone, i used to be proud to be on the highscores, please jagex in future xp rewards should be rare not every week.

I am typing here because the bug report system is not working for me. Have tried 6 times now in various ways and it would not submit.

Activated festive aura and had a herblore xp necklace on. Got 393.5 xp per Saradomin brew for 15 minutes. After this time it dropped to 262.5 xp per mixture.

Thought it might be the necklace so used the small recharge gems on it and still only got 262.5 xp per mixture. Once the 30 minutes were up, the wings disappeared and I still was getting 262.5 xp per mixture due to the necklace.

Other people have mentioned it only worked for 15 minutes also, yet others are saying they got the full 30 minutes.

Oh dear...sorry for posting this...just read that there is a max xp you can earn within that 30 minutes. If you reach the max in say 10 minutes (like I can with summoning), then that's it.

Very very very and so on, disappointed. I read ahead to find this out. Why bother ?

Instead of saying 50% xp for 30 minutes (or whatever the accurate statement is)...why not tell the truth and say, 100k xp or a percentage xp...forget the time limit rubbish.

In fact, why bother with the aura...just give an xp lamp and let it be used wherever once a day...if there is indeed a limit on how much can be earnt.

thanks to jagex for once again nerfing prayer in double xp rewards. i like how they now its one of the most pricey skills in rs. yet they never make it easier to level up. id like to warn everyone to not waste their money on prayer only to find it not work. like me > :(

Runescape isn't a challenge. Very little in Runescape is a challenge, and what is doesn't tend to be good as far as exp goes. No, Runescape is a time waster and a matter of how many thousands of hours of your life you're willing to waste.

So, Jagex is giving you a few hours back. You're welcome.

To everybody with questions about the aura: READ THE FAQ ON THE HOMEPAGE OMG YOU GUYS.

Seriously, people. Just read--all your questions are answered there.

To the other people complaining about taking off your aura and not being able to use it until tomorrow: all auras work that way. If you take it off, whether or not it's completely worn down, it automatically deactivates the aura's effects and you can't use it again until the timer is up. Which, for these holiday ones, is 24 hours.
