You know what I want? I don't want any xp or fancy drops, or even cash.
I simply want a player appreciation week.
So typically a few months before the "appreciation week" Jagex should post a forum, asking players what updates or tweaks we would like to see and the 50 most wanted tweaks get implemented, 10 each day from Monday-Friday.
Also each day could have a theme. One day we could have the "Day of Gluttony", where all over the game you can get a whole bunch off random food items, everything from sugar skulls, to Oktoberfest pretzel, to turkey legs...ect.
On the last day we could get 5 SOF spins, 5k Loyalty points, and 500 Runecoins! It would be awesome, and even the free players could participate!

so skilling has drastically because very unprofitable and by doing this this kind of balances it out, now the Armour will be cheaper ...... i saw this as a good thing ....free xp o boy ill be 99 in everything in no time and start questioning what to do....

No, 1000's of people are posting to the forums who are boycotting membership in RuneScape. You would know that if you bothered to read the other forums. These people are posting to vent and to desperately try to get your attention because
the Runescape that they knew is suddenly gone. Although it has been eroding over the past couple of years the EOC is the tipping point that made people realize that Jagex is taking this game into a completely wrong direction. Even if you don 't agree, Mod Mike, don't you even care that all these players are so upset? They are upset because they loved the game so much. They stay in the forums because they don't want to lose it.

Don't you love how there's always those one or two people who complain about people being upset over EoC? Their comments are LESS valuable than people complaining about EoC cause they're giving 0 feedback and are 100% complaining. I don't hate EoC, I hate the people that praise jagex like suck ups. Jagex can stick up for themselves if they wanted to, but they don't cause they're too afraid.
I'd give up EoC if it made the community happier, whether I like it or not. All we do is fight with each other, that's ruining the game more than any update has..

And as all the bad comments come along, the Jmods don't post. Just like on all the other recent updates. What happened guys? You used to care about your players, but now as soon as you get bad comments you don't reply? I used to respect you. If you look at the 'Evolution Of Combat Is Now Live' thread you'll see that no Jmod has posted since like page 20. It now has 1259 pages. Was it too much pressure to hit buttons on your keyboard? Is mashing buttons too hard? And then you have poor Ryncewind (forum mod) picking up ALL the slack, messaging people back, taking the harsh comments. I know being a fm is optional but you should help too.

I say to hell with all the players who "claim" they are going to quit! Technology is ever moving forward and if jagex didnt move with it...this game would have gone down the toilet long ago. I herald in this new age of gaming and if jagex wants to award us loyal players with a bounty of free xp and what not...i say I'm all for it. And to all those who say they will quit because they dont like the new direction runescape has taken...I say good riddance...please quit and that way the ones who will continue to play will no longer be subject to your narrow minded responses on these forums!! Keep up the good work jagex! NOW JUST GET RID OF ALL THESE DAMN BOTS LIKE YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO!!!

@Damn Demon why don't you go play a REAL modern game then. You have to understand that some people like 'old' games. Take Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Sonic etc... Sure these games changed but never enough so it took away the originality of it. They were never changed enough to cause damage.

most people don't know about double drop weekend starting this Dec 1 because it's hiding in the title Free Festive Aura for All Members...
who is going to read that and see the small detail of double drop weekend???
