Killed Hermod 17 times. No drumsticks, not even a plate. As someone who's played many RPGs I can say there's definitely something off with the RNG in this game.

Got drumsticks on my 25th kill. Thank god, having to fight him over and over was soul destroying. Now I can listen to the full band. The age of chivalry is gone; that of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded, and the glory of Europe is extinguished forever.

how is it off?

the drop rate for the plate is 1/10

so doing 17 kills means 16.67% chance of no drops. how is that broken? its not even rare for that to happen.

you are aware you can roll a 6 sided dice 12 times and not a roll a 1 right? thats literally how rng works.

the drumstick is 100% at kc 62. so only going 17 is nothing wrong either.


you have described a working rng system ;)

You're talking to me as if I lack a basic understanding of fractions and percentages. I didn't come here for maths lesson, I shouldn't have to kill a level 732 boss 62 times for a quest item. You shouldn't be able to interact with it until you've finished construction, it's counter-intuitive. I kept clicking on it thinking it was bugged. Also surge is sh*t because you can't phase through objects. The age of chivalry is gone; that of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded, and the glory of Europe is extinguished forever.
