The mods removed those posts because they felt it was the best solution to address the LGBT discrimination and other problems with the posts while also allowing the thread to refocus on the topic OP wanted. The compromises don't always work out in a way posters are satisfied with but it's not really the mods' fault that moderating the forums doesn't always offer a universally satisfactory outcome. If I were you, I'd consider the thread not getting locked a win. How to block a forum user
