Any company that shows utter contempt and disregard for their consumers is not worthy of support.

Shutting down the forums in an attempt to force us all to embrace untrusty third-party social media platforms is nothing short of betrayal. I am sure as hell not about to trust these digital cesspools with my personal information.

If you want to trust them, that's on you. Maybe you should not be on the internet unsupervised.

Jagex's stupid mistake will not be mine - and it need not be yours either. I've been putting out fire with gasoline! ^_^

Necromancy is more subjective and they made a point of addressing why it's frowned upon and how that doesn't apply to the players' use of it. The player is making a point of showing that ethical necromancy is viable by getting the consent of the undead they work with, which is tangibly more powerful than forcing them into service.

Hero Pass and the false advertisement they pulled with the christmas TH promos is right there and you made no mention of either. Good grief.

What a huge portion of my post that is. Not like the significantly larger part about necromancy. I'd like to remind you that you only gave 3 examples to respond to, so the pronoun thing was already a third of what there was to respond to in the first place. Not only did you not even respond to the other examples I brought up or add any of your own past the initial 3 but you completely dropped the necromancy part of what we were discussing. Your insistence on doubling down with even more bigotry, lack of new examples did far more to make it the main topic than I did.

Pretty cringe of you misrepresent people the way you do and calling LGBT representation a cult, propaganda and mental illness across your various posts. At some point you have to understand why people keep taking issue with that part of what you're saying. You can't reasonably expect people to ignore your main stated reason for disliking Jagex is that you hate that they acknowledge LGBT people. its interesting as mel has already pointed at, you call lgbt a cult mental illness etc. yet you havent explained how or why.

as mel has pointed at. you take issue at jagex for including lgbtq into their game, that is one of your points in your first post. (and in many threads during june you had issue with it)

what is it about it that you dislike and why? what would you prefer instead of the "wokeness" you refer to. (even though using the term woke as a negative is cringe on its own, when its really only used when a company is trying to include all people)

is that really something you dislike? that jagex want to include other people other than what you identify as?

we have a day left, hopefully we can get some kind of answer. but i doubt we will as whenever "woke" "wokeness" has been bought up the person using that term unironically has never been able to properly explain what it is thats bad. or why its even wrong. apart from hurting their feelings, only because they have been told its bad by the media. and they just act accordingly like youve been told to. no real free thinking on your part.

It's crazy to see green crown action just 2 days before the forums are locked from us forever. You couldn't even let off the gas for a couple days and let us talk about whatever? Really couldn't just lay off? I'm sure (I'd bet my whole account) that Jagex doesn't care about the last 2 days here. Why should you?

At this point the only thing that should be removed or even actioned is something genuinely illegal, something universally offensive, or targeted forum griefing in its final hours. Action on actual discussion, even off-topic, is absolutely unbelievable to me to see now.

The final forum archive is really going to show that you guys (green crowns) helped kill the forums right up until the end. Luckily I bet this comment will see at least a few people's eyes before it's removed, maybe even a response. I highly doubt you guys will allow this comment to be included publicly in the forum's final archive.

Please prove me wrong? Just this once?

If you found out you only had two days to live, would you openly invite random people into your home to smash the place to pieces?

I have seen many people blame the moderators for being part of the downfall of the forums. I get that you may have had opposite opinions on what they have done - I too have had opposite opinions on some of the moderation decisions - but ultimately their actions have been based on the forum rules .

These rules have been in place to protect the players, and they have performed this duty almost impeccably. The moderators may have taken a hard stance at times, but if they did not, blurred lines would have only caused more upset in the long run. These forums would not have existed as long as they have now if it weren't for the forum moderators, or the community that has grown here.

If you want to speak freely about other topics, there is a whole internet out there for you to do so. The RSOF has been for talking about RS, and RS only (excluding Off-Topic, of course), and the moderation team has allowed this to remain a safe place for us to talk about RS.

It's also been a great place for expressing our opinions, oftentimes clashing with opinions of others - such as the case is with this post. There is no over-moderation, there is no masses downvoting one or the other to oblivion. It's a good, old fashioned discussion. It's something we are all going to miss out on from this time tomorrow.

to think these people came back only because the they heard forums are closing, and they ddint come back to say bye etc but to be toxic, and most of these people, are apparently adults.
