yes its a game but its important to have the economy under control otherwise there wont be a game to play if it gets out of control.... the tax is nothing.

People must be trolling. WoW launched with an auction house fee (as a major example of precedent), I was not surprised by the change at all. It came with making death cheaper. Solid trade in my book.

Paying taxes in RS's GE is just ridiculous. It's supposed to be a game, a way to escape from the real world and all its stresses, but now we have to deal with taxes in the game too? It's just not fair. It's bad enough that we have to deal with taxes in real life, but now we have to deal with them in the game too? It takes away from the fun and enjoyment of the game and makes it feel like a chore.

Paying taxes in RS's GE is just ridiculous and it needs to stop. It's not fair to the players and it takes away from the fun and enjoyment of the game. We shouldn't have to deal with taxes in a game, it's supposed to be an escape from reality, not a reminder of it. :@ :@

I am torn I might say... as someone that has been playing RS for 10s of thousands of hours over nearly 20 years... I can say I question if Tax and Death are Equivalent Factors or if the Offset death costs is just an excuse.

Was the cost of death a major issue?

Maybe... I guess... but it seems to degrade the value of one's life if you can get your stuff back for cheaper amounts... heard of a few costs of high value being very very VERY low sums...

Does it Balance out honestly?
