I mean whats the point in keeping servers open if they are outdated and no one knows how to upkeep them?

Wait, games eventually become unprofitable and get shut down because the number of players interacting with them is not worth the price of maintaining them? New concept!

Seriously, anyone who honestly believed that any form of Runescape would last forever needs a reality check. Nothing lasts forever, and if you can't handle a game shutting down, I have no idea how you intend to handle death. Now with added

Really though, this couldnt be more true. Theres even going to be a day when osrs and rs3 get shut down as thats just a factor of life.

So just because ppl like a game isnt a reason to keep a bug infested version of it up.

Wow a classic thread that's been going to strong for two years, but then after two months a random bump. Safe to say this thread has ran its life cycle.

Classic had like 10 players on each day maybe, and that was in 2018

They shut it down cause the game died.

They gave you OSRS instead which is far more popular. Down the line RS3 and OSRS will be shutdown too once profits fall.
