Its a shame that we still can't visit Classic and that its gone forever. Even now I get this sudden urge to have another look at the game even though I was only like, level 4-8 before the closure and was often too involved in RS3 to really play it. There's something about the style and graphics that makes me want to come back and have another go at it.

Wish we could have had a downloadable single player version at the very least so we could play it on our own if bored :( .

The days of the 3 hit combat system and level 1 varrock pure pking, yep ill relish those times. You killed someone for a r2h, traded it for a yellow phat, got pked 3 hours later and resold the phat for another r2h.

Runescape will follow its course like all RPG type games. The common theme in them is DEVS often 'dumb down' the game to appeal to what they think their player base wants. The only reason 07 got EOC was the mass amounts of RPG games that used rotatable skills for combat. Like World of Warcraft, which also ran a similar course in the dumbing down of usable rotations. We played rs because we didn't want all that mumbo jumbo, and now we are stuck with a dying game failing to attract new members because it is the exact crap mmorpg that every other one is.
