It was sad to see Classic go... It was living history of RuneScape. The roots of the tree... RS2 being the stem and then it branched off into RS3 and OS... But everything comes to an end. In my opinion, a decrease in world count would've been enough, but it's been a while since it was shut down and the life goes on. In the end, it's only a game. Developers have their set projects and they have to finish them in time. As we can see, it wasn't in Jagex interest to continue to run Classic. It would've been interesting if the game had a developer or two that took care of the bugs and bots. Maybe an update or two. Right now we can only philosophise about it.

Indeed everything comes to an end. It's just a real shame Jagex doesn't care about their customers anymore. The current Jagex is just trying their best to bleed every last $ out of the community before Runescape as a whole comes to an end.

Osrs and Rs3 are dying at a rapid rate. I was thinking about playing osrs again but it sucks. Bots and Venezuelan farmers everywhere. Clans dominate wilderness.
People don't talk anymore.
Pvp is shit. Pvm has way too much.
No customer support.
People that get wrongfully banned.
Disqualifying Torvesta from deadmanmode for absolutely nothing.

The Gowers no longer control jagex.

A Chinese mining company does for the time being.

They wanting money are doing lots of mtx. Whatever brings them money and doesn't cost them is going to be the deal.


I would expect the chinese mining company to milk this game till it's dead. Then try for some more money.
