Jagex is well aware of what happened at the time. Our pleas were ignored, unfortunately. It did lead to a big decline in Classic's integrity.

At the end of the day, RuneScape 1 should have lived as long as RuneScape (whatever) lived. That is what we were promised, and that is what should have happened.

Now, we can only beg that our game is returned to us eventually.

Such betrayal should be eye opening to the community. It seems to have fallen on deaf OSRS/RS3 ears, though. Which is exactly how they wanted things to play out.

I will continue to be vocal, on behalf of the Classic community, though.

This is why I will NEVER entertain the idea of playing old school even though there is a thriving community for PvP.

I greatly miss PvP and wish that it wasn't absolutely trash on RS3 or titled in a way that full manual can merc literally everyone and anything.

Jagex has not focused enough on game development in regards to combat mechanics and left EOC as if it was perfect, when it clearly is not.

I feel someday they will bring former version to the chopping block all the same. Darkscape also died relatively quick as well. Fun orb... etc etc. Makes you lose faith in the game you grew up playing as a kid. Is sad.

Jagex does seem to do a good job with the community.

You're a troll bro. White knighting a company hardcore when it's quite clear there's a lot of disappointment in a lot of areas from the community. A lot of people remain solely due to the fact they already put 10+ years into the game so it's hard to let go. Not just addiction, but sentimental value and the developers and current owners don't adhere to that at all.
