One thing that isn't mention a whole lot is that this RuneScape Expansion stems from ideas posted to RuneLabs. Amascult is one of the people who spent a long time pushing to see this city finally released. This is briefly mention in The Road to Menaphos - Episode #1 - The Story So Far.

Excellent thread that I can read to catch up on the things going on in the world of runescape and jagex. I enjoy the gossipy side

I'm enjoying reading the thread on reddit at the moment most amusing.

They reap what they sow no sympathy from me for either fmod or jmod.

FUTURE JMOD TIDBITS

This post should not be construed in any shape or form as 'arguing a moderation decision' but should be viewed in the spirit that it is written, to inform readers of this thread about the outcome of my query on the MRT in relationship to the future of Jmod Tidbits.

Commentary

Transparency

Most people utilize the Moderation Review Thread in relationship to something that "they" personally wrote. My recent visit to MRT was not in relationship to something that "I" had personally wrote that had been subject to moderation but rather because a Jmod Tidbit had been subject to moderation. In other words, what a Jmod had communicated on Reddit that I had posted on RSOF as a Jmod Tidbit had been moderated on RSOF. After all that is what a Jmod Tidbit is, what a Jmod has communicated on a topic on a social media platform.

Tbh, I found it a bit disturbing that what a Jmod has said had been subject to moderation on RSOF for a number of reasons which I have already outlined in previous posts. In my 1st query I had acknowledged the rock & the hard place situation that this query placed CM in & provided them with what I thought to be 3 solutions to this dilemma.

1. The Jmod Tidbit can be redone & posted without my commentary & without the images for context & examples of strawman posting if that is what the issue truly is.

2. Or you can unhide the post & let it stand.

3. Or let the moderation stand that gives the impression that what a Jmod says on social media is not suitable for posting on RSOF. If option 3, could you please be so kind as to inform me of the censorship parameters for future Jmod Tidbits.

My 2nd query to the MRT was a follow up to the answer I received to my 1st query which indicated that it was being discussed. I asked, (1) has a consensus been reached & for the outcome & had asked something I had not even considered in my 1st query, (2) that perhaps CM position on posting Jmods Tidbits on RSOF has changed & that CM no longer wanted me to post Jmod Tidbits after almost 10 years of doing.

The Answer




The Answer to my query in relationship to the Jmod Tidbit, (what a Jmod has said on social media) that was subject to moderation is no longer in lingering limbo. The question asked in the 2nd query, in relationship to CM position on posting future Jmod Tidbits has been answered. The question in relationship to censorship parameters of future Jmod Tidbits was not.

So there you have it in a nutshell. Sooo, with that said...
