As far as I can remember it was on my main back in 2005, 6 or 7. It was possibly to moan or complain about the removal of pk in wild or when they changed the rules of starting quests, it may of been something else?? But it was definitely in the negative nature, either in rants forum or the old customer support. This wad my very first time in a forum, and my ex husband kept telling me to bump, as the forums back then moved fast. I never went anywhere else in the forums. I only came into forums when I was upset about something - also I wouldn't of done any of this if it wasn't for my ex husband, I wouldn't even of bumped threads or even knew what it meant to bump a thread if it wasn't for my ex husband.

It wasn't until the middle of 2011 that I explored the forums and soon fell in love with them clocking over 20k posts within six months on this account. Sadly I had irl crisis which resulted in me packing up my kids, my furniture and moved cities end of 2011. I finally came back to the forums middle this year :)

Some years ago I remember thinking that the forums would be an awesome way of getting out info on clans, player activities, events and the like.
I was a little gutted though as, at that time, it was by and large just a members' space.

Today it's brilliant to see how diverse it is, and I think it's a great way of being a part of this game.

For me this was quite a long time ago. I remember there being lots of forums. That's not something to forget and there have always been loads of RSOF forums.

They were comfortable and because I had loads of fun with the game back then, with many irl friends playing and things just being, well, so exciting, I never had a thing to complain about.

I got hooked to the forums mainly because it was an avenue to bring my feedback about the game once I'd played it for many years and because there was a great community of supportive, regular posters. You make friends, you sometimes get into arguments - it can be like a family house at times lol :P Had people who I didn't like who I grew to become good friends with and ya, it was all really good.

Things have changed quite a bit tho, but I'm still here somewhat... Don't feel I'll be posting as much but I won't continue with that kinda talk in this positive thread.

In between 2008-2009 via official Finnish Community Forums that Mod Jouni, Mod Cob and Mod Hiisi moderated back then... I miss those times :(

From there I learned to use English forums as well

I believe the first time I used the forums was to find help for the Shield of Arrov quest (I needed a Phoenix member's help). I didn't use it again until some time after, although I browsed them now and again.

I didn't start using them regularly until a short time after EoC was released, when I posted a very long couple of posts detailing how EoC completely killed competitive Castle Wars. I've posted now and then ever since. :)

Do you mean THESE forums? Or RS in general? Because I used the original RS forums, and they seems much more interactive at the time.

Direct feedback, near-instant responses.

It was a very simple time, and these forums are better than when they didn't have any at all. But just as the game is behind the current year we're in, so is their website. A lot of other gaming forums at least allow you to post images, etc etc. This forum is very 'stripped' - so basic.

I like the look of it, it's the function and support here anymore that's lack-luster.
