My first experience:

My thread was locked for posting in the wrong section and the person that did it was really snobby about it.

This was back when the forums were really thriving with over hundreds of users at a time. Didn't come back to the forums for a while since that experience cuz it felt like an exclusive community.

Like it much better now although I wish more people used it.

My first experience with these forums was far too long ago for me to recall. I've used them for as long as I can remember, which would probably be whenever they were introduced.

As for what hooked me, it was probably because it helped bridge the gap of lack of communication in-game. Though that's funny now, now that communication in-game is truly dead.

Best moments were when Rants was truly the spam bin of the forum. The amount of entertainment there was to be had was immensely fun.

Actually, the Runescape forums are what got me interested in forums in general. I can't exactly recall what my first experience on the forums was - that was a long time ago - but I do recall thinking that it was a very active place. It felt like I had unveiled a secret society.

One of my best moments was back when I used to frequent the forum games section and I was very active. It was great fun participating in various forum games, and it helped keep me sane as I was training slow skills in-game. ;)

It was so long ago I don't remember where it started, but I really enjoyed the General forum chat lounge and posting in recent updates. There was also this one forum game that I played from time to time... Stevius xx's word scramble or something like that.
