Oddly enough, I seem to be only getting CAPTCHAs when using mobile devices. When using my actual PC.. I can't recall when I last did a CAPTCHA on there as far as RuneScape is concerned.

That aside, there seems to be a misunderstanding that the CAPTCHA is for the forums. It is not for the forums, but the login module of the website. That's anywhere you'd need to log in, which includes the forums, but is not just the forums. So, it's not to stop bots from using the forums, but to stop bots from attempting to log in to accounts via the website, regardless of their destination (forums, account settings, etc).

funny they add captcha but cant actually fix forum issues

Suggestion for those still plagued by captchas:

In ALL your script blockers, ad blockers etc. whitelist both cloudflare.com and cloudflareinsights.com, and see if that helps.
