We want a solution just as much as you and everyone else does so to say (at least from our point of view) that we have no desire to improve or change anything is just wrong.
But, we're not Jagex and have very little say when it comes to timelines and implementation of some form of new and improved FMR and certainly no say when it comes to resourcing with regards to time allocation for staff members. We can just suggest and push for it (in the same way as you can) - which we do.
Arch is trying his best to keep this thread strictly on the topic at hand and not allow it to veer off into inappropriate discussions regarding individuals, hence why certain posts of that nature are getting removed, nothing more, nothing less.
Ultimately we want to be held to account as well and want to be able to say with confidence "Please use FMR...".
We are nudging as much as we can through our channels as well in the hopes we can have some sort of better solution soon ('soon' being just as open ended to me as it is for you)
A lot of great discussion has already happened on this thread.
To sum up my thoughts, I agree with the idea of removing FMR and allowing players to submit tickets as needed *or* to email Jagex at a certain email address to receive a response to a raised situation.
Interesting discussions here. I for one don't mind allowing players to report somewhere else other than the FMR thread. Reading throughout this thread, I learned that those purple moderators or "CMs" can check the community mailbox so why not allow us to use that instead and have those answers shared much like FMR used to work?
It seems to me that the person in charge of the FMR thread has vacated their position at Jagex; what other explanation is there for an employee not doing a part of their job?
And spare me the "no discussing staff/moderators" rhetoric. I'm not attacking anyone here; simply stating an observation for discussion.

Is it stated anywhere that a Jmod is supposed to be regularly overlooking FMR to begin with?

If the responsibilities of the JMods in Community Management do not leave enough time for reviewing FMR, then there is, as I have repeatedly made clear, a SYSTEMIC problem. Either their job needs to be restructured, more CM staff are needed, or the way in which FMR operates needs to change. The latter, being the most realistic option, is the subject of this thread.

Perhaps you should read the first post on FMR:
