A Scouse thread it must be important so had to read it and Yep I was right. It's important.
Hello Mr Scouse. Yes the forums are slow and yes you only see the same faces posting. Been that way for a few years. It's not a bad thing really as the forums have a user base that do post often. I like to see that. I would also like to see more Gold Posts and I and others have been an advocate of this over many years. Sadly I can't see that happening. Have I give up trying hell no. I mention it a lot in a top secret discord place that no one knows about. Also when I get a chance in the top secret F-Mod sections that no one knows about. Also in PM messages with high up's in Jagex. Yes I have contacts lol. Or do I.....
We would all love to see the forums revived and get back to the old days were 100's if not 1000's of posts were made a day. Sadly won't happen due to dare I say it.... Yes I must or you can't follow the story the dreaded Social Media sites. We can all throw the blame on them and how easier they are to get a broader group of people information about RuneScape. Sadly the forums are the last to know and thats why Loki does a great thread in General Chat thats stickied each month with some very useful links to may great posts from Social Media.
We have to make do with what we have and yes we still have a Forum and we still have a Community. We can still make these forums a bit better if we all pull together. Trust me we can.
It's not over yet and the Forums are here for a long time fingers crossed. I'm with you all here saying the only way to get rid of me is to close them down. If thats done I'll go down in RS history as the guy with the most forum posts.
Great to see a Scouse thread and the Community pulling together to get a better forums for all.
It's made me proud to be a part of the group who want a better forum.
Absolutely loathe how companies have shifted from centralized community forums to social media. Hopefully the small lot here can keep it alive for as long as it can.
Cant see any room for disagreement on a fact but you do you.
