I had to contact Jagex about my subscription, because although my 12-month renewal was acknowledged and confirmed, my account status was never updated. In the process of trying to correct this, I discovered that using the "Contact us" e-mail links for billing issues in the browser or the client results in a failed delivery. When I finally found the forum thread on payment issues I was directed to a place where I COULD post a message. I did so.

I had also pointed out on the forum that dead links should be removed, as they are enormously frustrating. I was told to post that recommendation here, because there are currently NO functioning e-mail addresses for billing issues, so I am doing so.

Take those links out and replace them with the URL that will get customers to the place where their subscription and payment issues can actually be addressed. THIS IS NOT JUST A SUGGESTION AND YES I AM YELLING

Not shore if posting in the right place but

I just spotted a small mistake on your website.
I just had to re download the runescape install files and on the download page it says the file size is 22.3mb but in actual fact the file size is 22.7mb

Just thought i would point it out as some people might be confused or worried by this.

Regards

Hi there,

Well I have to say, this is very hawk-like of you to spot this! Ultimately, it shouldn't be anything to worry about, as you say, as Jagex are probably just updating the download, but I will note it down on the Quick-Fixes thread in this forum so that they remember to update it in the future (hopefully!) :)

Thanks for posting!

~ Misty ;)

Sorry to hear that there was a little frustration here, I can imagine why! It's great to hear that the Billing Support forum was able to help you out, but you are right that these links should be updated. I will add this to the Quick Fixes thread in this forum with a link to this post and hopefully they can get to it!

Is your issue resolved now?

In the future, if you have another issue (I hope not!), then your best bet is to head on over to the Support Centre and choose the appropriate options there. You can access this via clicking "Support" in the top right of your RuneScape homepage or by visiting the address below:

Thanks for posting and I hope this helps!

Hi simple question really. I have a post on Runelab you see. How would I link it to a thread I have of my own. That way readers can simply click to vote. Is this tolerated on forums? Cheers ^_^

The end of a URL of a runelab idea is: idea=<number>
That number determines which idea you're directed to so if you add in "idea=<number of your thread>", other players can edit that number into the URL of any RL idea to be directed to yours :)

Btw, just a reminder that this thread is for suggesting improvements to the RS website, in the future it's best to make your own thread (especially for more complex questions) or perhaps ask in a chat lounge (for a quick question) if you need a question answered :P

hmm a couple of things i would like to suggest-

1. when you mistype your pass-word in the box and when you go back to the login page to re-type it can they change it so that the thing already written in the pass-word box is deleted (saves you having to do this which is helpful unless you know where you went wrong in your pass-word)

2. i play on chrome and i scroll through the tabs alot when playing- this leads me to sometimes click on the little close icon on the tab which instantly close the runescape page unlike if you were on it properly- can this be changed too so the closing confirm message appears then aswell.

I have a suggestion.
For the grand exchange, I think it would be nice to add a feature that helps people track prices of selected items and receive a notification (perhaps to their email) of the new price of their items and the amount they've changed. So something like this:

Iron Ore
Current Price: 261gp
Price change: -4g*

Wheat
Current Price: 47gp
Price change: +3gp

etc...

Other potential features could include the ability choose how often a notification is sent (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly) and a page to manage what items are being tracked.

1. In all honesty, I feel that by holding the backspace button it honestly takes less than one second to delete the ******** so don't see any real need for time to be spent altering this as it doesn't seem to be a huge issue or improvement that is needed. Please post if you disagree with this.

2. Is it possible for Jagex to change that? This is a genuine question as I wasn't sure if it was to do with the browser itself or whether Jagex could implement the warning, notification system that is present in other browsers. I find myself doing this ALL the time! :P
