For the grand exchange, I think it would be nice to add a feature that helps people track prices of selected items and receive a notification (perhaps to their email) of the new price of their items and the amount they've changed. So something like this:

Iron Ore
Current Price: 261gp
Price change: -4g*

Wheat

Price change: +3gp

etc...

Other potential features could include the ability choose how often a notification is sent (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly) and a page to manage what items are being tracked.

On the site, under the Grand Exchange section (Community > Grand Exchange) every item has recorded price falls and increases listed alongside each item. If you want to check it is really quite speedy.

if you meant for the Grand Exchange in game and notifications to be listed there (which I think would be very useful, especially with existing offers), then you should post this suggestion in the Existing Game Content and post a suggestion as to how we could improve the GE

This would be very useful, just as much so as the API for rank names and kills, to clans who use spreadsheets to help keep track of clanmate data. With this addition, we could then set up a daily logger which would tell us when clanmates run out or renew their membership, and other useful things. This would help with things like inactivity sweeps and much more especially for P2P only clans.

Yes, this info can be found already by looking for the membership badge next to a clanmates name, but that would be very time consuming to check everyones, find daily changes in clanmates membership status, and write notes manually for large clans with pages to sort through.

as to your second point i believe they can (as far as i recall they introduced the warning we have now to stop scammers who told people to drop items and then press alt+f4 which closes the window) but i have no idea how they did that.
also i play another web game which also has this feature and clicking the little cross on that tab does pop up that message unlike on runescape so it can be done.

i kinda get your second point but my i have 2 issues with the pass-word thing as it is now-
1. my pass-word is long and fairly easy for me to get wrong so i can spend multiple times trying to do this (its almost a daily ritual for me now ) and its kinda frustrating
2. but mainly on my laptop since the enter and backspace keys are next to each other and its very easy to press enter instead of backspace meaning that when trying to clear what is already there i can accidentally re-enter the wrong pass-word which again is annoying but also means i have less 'chances' to get it right.

Well argued my friend! I will get a post written up for these now and add them into the thread ....
