Was wondering if it would help you get more feedback if when someone is cancelling a membership there was an option to say that they are cancelling so that they can spend the money on a different account? I did this recently and felt that it would be more helpful for you all for more specific feedback like this to be given than the 'other' option i had to go for. =)

Hi but this is just a thought, can we improve the security more for accounts. i have had a few friends who recently got hacked but they had they re emails hacked. and once they have they re emails hacked its pretty easy for them to turn of the authenticator. So heres a thought, how about double the security i mean using email to register and everything but also having an add telephone number to account. to the point where you can use your phone to protect your account. so lets say someone tries to change your email, a message will be sent to your phone saying
"do you want to authorize this email change"
"Do you wish to turn authenticator off?"
"do you wish to change ********"
and you can respond to it either saying yes or no. i mean they re are plenty of hackers out there who can easily get access to someones email and take the items that players work so hard for. So adding your telephone number to this would be a little more difficult for them to access your account. Because to get on your account they would have to have your phone. but of course you would hide the telephone number. and if they would wish to change the phone number you would have to provide the old number and proof that you own the phone. i personally think this would improve the security on rs accounts. im just tired of seeing friends/players having their accounts hacked because somehow these people got ahold of their emails. but this is just a thought. What do you guys think?

I actually really like this idea. Since transferring it is an option anyway, I can't see why this would be a problem. I have added it in and hopefully we will get a response about it!

Hi there,

The Authenticator is actually a very stable system, however you have to ensure that you also have
two-step verfifation enabled for your email
so that has the same level of protection as your RuneScape account and prevents the Authenticator from being deactivated. You can find out more information on the Authenticator here:

Since it keeps happening it sounds like there is a keylogger or some sort of virus / malware on your / their computer so I would suggest [lightskyblue]running a complete scan of your computer and removing any detected items[/lightsykblue] as well as installing appropriate software such as, Microsoft Defender, Malware Bytes, MSE and McAffee (in preference for me). If you go to the Support Center which can be accessed via clicking "Support" at the top right of your homepage, then you can find more information on how to keep your account secure there. :) ~ Misty ;) ....

Not shore if posting in the right place but

I just spotted a small mistake on your website.
I just had to re download the runescape install files and on the download page it says the file size is 22.3mb but in actual fact the file size is 22.7mb

Just thought i would point it out as some people might be confused or worried by this.

Regards
