Right, which is why I said this: Spearmint30 said :
I agree with you that the feature isn't needed as I mentioned already...

What part of that dont ppl get?

You can already do this so whats stopping you?

Why must everything be done by jagex?
The answer to these questions was right here the whole time: Spearmint30 said :
... if Jagex happens to put some dev time towards the RSOF platform and there's time in there for new features above and beyond what is needed, then there's no reason this one couldn't be on the list.

I took that to mean polling by Jagex for "official" purposes. If I've misunderstood the intent behind those comments, my apologies.

Please explain how.:

As for RS3 I can't remember the last poll on the forums to do with anything. Used to have a section on the website for RS3 polls but that again hasn't been used in years.

So I honestly can't see any polls in threads for RS3.

From my reading of it he clearly states no to polls in threads for rs3.

Read the last sentence.

So please explain how im misreading anything.

Ok maybe you're reading it correctly but interpreting it wrong.

Well I'll start with in Tuffty's first post he advises OP that they can add polls using straw polls. Why would somebody who is against them tell OP this?

You know he said this though as you referenced it in another post, strange it never occured to you as it's an odd bit of advice from somebody who apparently thinks its for the best they're kept off the forums..

Also by saying no to polls for rs3 threads it sort of implies you're in support of them for Old school threads, which would be very strange. This should also have been a clue that perhaps a mistake has been made, which if you were to then read tuffty's post again it should be apparent that he's not referring to OPs suggestion but more likely as Speamint says jagex ran polls.

Jagex do polls for RS3 and for Old School.

https://secure.runescape.com/m=poll/ RS3.

https://secure.runescape.com/m=poll/oldschool/ OS.

The OP is asking for Polls on threads. Players can't do this direct so they can use Strawpolls which have been used a lot in the past.

I still think if Jagex wanted the Community to do polls then they have to give us a new Forum to support them. Without that it's Strawpolls or others via a link to a safe site.

I seem to have caused a lot of confusion here and now I'm confused lol.
