Personally, I've never had issue with the L word being censored because this is a forum for an internet video game. My sexuality has nothing to do with it, and it's never really been relevant or something that I've needed to talk about. I understand why it's censored, because you'll run into "l0l u r gay rofl" about 1000 times more often then you'll find people using it to describe their sexuality. No, it isn't a dirty word. But it's also irrelevant to RuneScape. Generally these forums are for RS discussion only- what does your, or anyone else's sexuality have to do with the game? What will you gain by everyone knowing? I have no problem with LGTB etcs, but things like this should remain separate from the forums. Politics and religion are censored for the same reason- does anybody feel screwed over by that rule? Maybe a few people, but on the whole, no. People recognise that such issues are better not discussed on a gaming forum. I am a huge advocate of free speech- if this were an 'every topic goes' sort of forum, then I would stand behind you 100%. But this isn't, and it shouldn't be an issue here.

The moment we start treating everyone equally is the day Murderers, Rapists and other criminals don't need to go to jail because others don't need to go to jail either... We can't treat everyone equally and people should be allowed to chose who they wish to talk to and who they don't wish to talk to. There have always been gaps between people and there's nothing wrong with that. I've gone from an activity player to an inactive player.

Lmao can you just fuck off with this crap, if I want to tell someone I'm into both boys and girls I'll just tell them, the words are used derogatory anyways usually so I can see why they did this, and seriously it doesn't matter, I don't see why you want to be discussing your sexuality in-game, and even if you want to, does it bother you that much the word is censored?
