We also have this:

They have a list of all the contacts that are available (these are usually the most "popular" brands, though).

My eyesight is fine. I think it helps that I always use very dim monitors (whenever I'm at a computer at the university, I immediately turn down the screen brightness to near the lowest, the default brightness that most people use hurts my eyes) and I don't watch much TV either; in fact I haven't owned one for 8 years since moving out.

um i know this is a revived thread, but i totally recommend LASIK.

i helped my bf pay for his back on 2012. costed us about 3100USD for both eyes combine. with a 10yr free check up and 1 free redo if he notices any problems. the only problem is in worse scenarios u will be stuck seeing a long lines at night when u see street lights that may take yrs to go away, but besides that he's never been happier so it is truly something to look up to @OP.

LASIK is nice for not having to wear glasses, someone in my life has done it; however, he still uses eye drops on an every other day basis so don't assume your dryness problem will be resolved from having surgery.

everyone has different eyes, tho everyone WILL HAVE to go through dryness for at least the first 5-6months using ton and tons of eye drops once every 4hrs. it was super costly  too those bottles aren't cheap. Systane was the one our Optometrist recommended and it did the trick.

I just visited the optometrist yesterday, my nearsightedness stayed the same but astigmatism in left up 2 notches, in right up 1 notch. She also told me lasik is best done around 20-30 yrs old so you'll get the most time out of it, if that helps.

I soooo can't wait to earn my first 7000€ for it what it costs here ( will probably save up a bit more if there will be some extra costs) . This is the first thing I will do when I earn my first "big" money. What reminds me everyday that I will do that? Waking up and opening my eyes.

My vision is better than 20/20 according to my eye examiner.

I would personally recommend LASIK. It only takes 10 minutes per eye to perform the surgery, and its completely painless. The cost can vary greatly due to location and experience of the surgeon.

LASIK doesn't guarantee good vision for your entire life. They do guarantee free surgeries in the future, should your eyesight ever worsen again.

For the first 3 months after the surgery, you're gonna see halos and starbursts around any lights. It's particularly glaring at night so you can't drive.

if you get infections so much from wearing contacts, (i know this one is due to sand) why on earth are do you still wear them? / why are you allowed to wear them?

i work in an opticians. and if you suffer from them to the extent you seem to put out. we would say you are not allowed them for your own health.
