LASIK is nice for not having to wear glasses, someone in my life has done it; however, he still uses eye drops on an every other day basis so don't assume your dryness problem will be resolved from having surgery.

i dont even suffer from "dryness " (i know sounds contradictory now), only when i wear contacts. If i don't wear them, i dont have dryness. So after LASIK, I won't suffer dryness because as long as i don't wear contacts i don't suffer dryness. And I won't need contacts anymore after LASIK cause i won't be blind anymore

Still waiting till i can wear my contacts again.. Wearing glasses everyday now since about July, been trying to wear contacts here and then but after like 2 hours they burn. I still have headaches from my glasses which are adequately adjusted to my eyes. I never had headaches before in my life, only from these glasses.

And if i dont wear any seeing help i get very tired and could sleep all day because without them EVERYTHING is so extremly dark and blurry. I can STARE with my eyes wide open in the hot summer sun without eye help without problems, because everything is so dark without glasses/contacts.

Oh my god when will I be able to wear contacts again? I've been wearing glasses for 6 months now, still not used to it AT ALL, and just tried to put in new, fresh contacts in and NO. My right eye is completely red now, refusing it once again.

Why am i the only person on this planet that is very nearsighted and CAN NOT wear contacts?

I mean it should be like

Either, you have codswallop eyes OR you have perfect eyes and can not wear contacts.

I have horrible eyes and can not wear contacts! And i'm not getting used to glasses! The margins still bother me, i can still not see clearly with them, if i move my eyes up or down (without moving my head) i still see everything blurred.. i need to see clearly and not almost blind or only clearly with glasses that always have fog on them and require to wash them atleast twice or thrice every single day.

My only wish in my life is too see clearly. A thing which 90% of people have and take for granted I do not have. This is a curse.. :/

If laser surgery costs so much in your country, maybe you want to do it in another country?
I found this page: http://eyes.lt/en/prices/

I don't trust them , i'm sorry.

it's not even hard to earn 7000€ for it, but i will start to work in maybe some years after finishing to study. As soon as i have the money, i don't care that i have 0€ then, i will get it done, here. I'm not a nationalist at all and don't want to even live in this country in 10 years but i think Germany has the best surgeons in the world. So i rather do it here for a lot of money, than for not even a tenth the price in a country with (probably) less qualified people. The risk is too high for me. Really, i'm usually a person who often buys the least expensive things when it comes to everything. But when it comes to my eyes, and you only have two eyes, i'm willing to pay a LOT of money just to be 99.9% sure nothing will go wrong instead of 99.0%. Seeing is life, and having even worse eyes than now, even if the chance is small, would but me to perpetual hell.

I just wished i could wear contacts again for the next, probably 3-4 years til i will finally get it done. Do you have any contacts you recommend me? I tried Air Optix and Lexxoo. Lexxoo were amazing when i was still able to wear contacts, but now i feel them too. :/
