Note: if this is "Name and Shaming" , i am sorry. Then just lock/delete this thread. I don't intent to break this rule and as i don't talk negatively about anyone here, i don't feel like i do. If this thread however violates the rule, feel free to lock this thread.

Have you ever seen RS players mysteriously leaving RS after years of devotion? Without leaving a message like that they just don't like the game anymore? I have.

If you know R obin, he has been an active player for years. He has been in the FC i am in too as long as i can remember, and he was also an active forum poster.

However, his last post was on 30 September 2014. I know it is not a month ago yet, but since then, he has not logged a single time, and has also lost his membership (which you can see on Forums, no more Avatar etc). All that without leaving a message, nothing.

I have seen this happening quite a few times, okay not even 1 month may be not long but we'll see for how long he will be gone. I maybe sound weird with this but a player who has been online for almost every day, an active on forums, to just become F2P and don't log in again for 1 month, is kind of questionable. However, i fully respect people if they choose to quit RS just like that.

So, have you ever witnessed such a all of a sudden lost trace of someone? Maybe not only in RS, but other games?

Ya. Some people just get busy irl though. 1 guy i know literally vanished into thin air and everyone thought he died irl.. 6 months later he was back though lol

Just looked at his runetrack progress. I can see why you're concerned. He suddenly vanished.

You said he's not a member anymore.
Not to overthinking, one of my friend passed away years ago. Her membership ended fast because when somebody died their credit card is cancelled, so it can't renew subscription. just saying.

OR... he lost his membership because he can't afford it then stopped playing?

Hopefully he's fine. :>

Safe to assume they are in a better place. I knew one person on RS who had cancer and she made a big thread about how she only had months to live and that she would like to spend those months playing RuneScape. Very sad way to go out if you think about it.
