I aim for 8 hours, if it's less than that then find time for a nap. My routine incorporates strenuous workouts and recovering from those requires some quality rest; I really can't function particularly well on less than 7 hours of sleep, as I'll have trouble focusing on anything and become grumpy. I'd love to sleep even more but having a small kid effectively prevents that.
