^ Well now, aren't you on the ball!

Edit: that arrow is meant to point to Erehk's post :/

Thank you again for giving me a heads up. I'm actually reworking how smileys are handled (preventing them from breaking links).

It seems quotes containing smileys were not agreeing with my approach. The fix is temporary as I'm about to publish a more elegant solution after a little more testing and coffee :)

Another edit: There is a new option in Miscellaneous Settings that may interest you.

Yw :)

Not sure it works as you expected. RS Linkify just highlights the appropriate list item and the browser chooses the scroll position. So the option wont necessarily be centred.

Since I was doing an update I thought I'd make a start on it. I may work on it some more and see if I can refine it :)

Ah yeah I see what you mean about it not being centered, it seems to put the last visited section at the bottom-most option on the scroll for the saved spot. So jumping to General and then using the drop-down bar is like:

Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing haha, I've only just started trying it out since turning it on in settings. :P

Yep it might take some getting used to.

Thing is anything above RGU can never be centred as there nothing left to scroll, and anything below Old School Clans is the same an can never be centred.

The other thing is, the scroll position can't be set at all. List of options that show more than item when closed can be scrolled programmatically, however this one only shows a single item (when it hasn't been clicked) and that means chrome wont allow scrolling programmatically.

So in short, a number of items can never be centred, and on top that chrome wont let me set the position of the scrollbars when the default list only shows a single option.

Anyway it doesn't matter if you don't use it as I've learnt a couple of things I didn't know about drop down lists.

Tbh it took me less than 2 minutes to throw together and I expected it might feel a little odd, well for me it does. Changing the default behaviour of HTML elements is often like this, but it's always worth a try :)

-lurks some more-

I should post here some more, like, I really should. I hope all is well, and I noticed Bodyy has a super fancy badge (that I can't really read), congrats!

Oh that's the non members Linkify badge, the flip side just says Contributor Since + date . I know the text is tiny but I don't have much space and I need something for the badge flip.

Around 7 people with badges are not active any more. Not that I'm looking to replace them, I don't want badges everywhere and I like the amount at present, but I thought it was time to show Bodyy that I do appreciate what he brings to this thread :)
