(QFC's, images, etc) have been opening in the same window for me, rather than a new tab


Hmm they aren't doing that for me. I did make some changes, but that was stopping the reply button opening new tab, and I made it optional for highlighting threads to open in new tab.

I just tested qfc codes here , Two posts that have them. One is plain qfc that's converted by RS-Linkify and the other is using the qfc tag. Both open in a new tab for me. And so far images I have clicked open in new tab do too.

I'd be curious to know if any one else is experiencing this and is it only certain links.


I'll do another test just to see what happens. Both these should open in new tab and the image should too.

For whatever reason, they open in new tabs now, so seems the bottom has been gotten to!

Good morning to you Keighlea

It must have been during some changes I made. A few pages back Thunder mentioned reply button was opening in tab. Not sure how long that had been happening (i don't use reply button) but I have a feeling it may have been like that for a while.

Anyway that was unintentional so I made some changes, then I made some more changes after that to provide a new tab option when highlighting. I don't think it's coincidence that your issue happened around this time.

Anyway I'm glad it's back to normal
