I'll have to be blunt here - I don't enjoy easter eggs that are forced and in your face. I'd prefer if they were either toggleable (ToggleScape lol) or requiring a certain, cryptic set of instructions to activate it.

Not to mention, this particular easter egg sometimes bugged out the forums for me. Sometimes the page doesn't show anything, not even the IQ9 thing, it's just a black slate of nothingness. This was extremely annoying and I don't want to disable Linkify just because of this one thing.

If I were to do again I'd do things differently. I don't know if you have the most up to date version, that should take care of any blank screens, unless I'm mistaken. However it will try to run the event until midnight tonight.

I might be able to provide a work around to prevent the event from starting if you like, but I need to look into that a bit more.

How about a "I don't want easter eggs" option in the settings, and no event, change for Christmas, etc, would ever appear if that setting was ticked?

It'd help keep the surprise for any future event too.
