Hmmm I was just thinking...
857th post, the last digit tells you the post on the page anyway. Now I'm not sure. I need more feedback on this.
Oh and speaking of feedback I wonder how people would feel about me removing this
example...
It's not like we don't know who made the post. That would give space to add something useful and prevent long names pushing links down into the post. Thoughts?
Isn't there space for information next to the "reply" button on the bottom of the post?
However i think the removing of the name isn't a bad suggestion either, just giving some inspiration

I suppose it could be removed and replaced with something more useful and less redundant.

Regarding removing the 'by ....' on edited posts; I see no reason why not to remove it other than what Morgan pointed out. Its very rare for a J-mod to edit a post, and when they do they almost always leave a comment within the edited post.
I'd much rather see that space used for much more useful information/tools.

Was just testing what breaks quoting, and found that if you highlight two quotes within a post at the same time, it breaks
