Hi Indy!!! Thanks once again for the awesome updates and all the work you do on Linkify!!! The custom avatars are working now I see and I am starting to work on new avatar pics. I made this this morning and am very curious as to how it will look on the site.

I am no coder but would it be hard for someone to throw together an app that would scale images and show as a preview before submitting to you for a gallery code? I am using Gimp and that seems to work very well, but I wonder if there is a way to save the blank RS avatar bubble as a skin or layer to overlay pics as a preview.
Maybe someone with actual photoshop skills could post on this.
Anyway, thanks again for all you do love the results you are smashing!!!

• Right-click where your ava is
• Inspect element
• Right-click the link in the highlighted section
• Edit attribute
• Paste the image link over the current link
and here's a template I use as a guide. I just use it as a layer.
The dimensions are 110 x 110, and as you know avatars are 100 x 100. So you have to centre the avatar. But it's just an indication, it may be a few px out.

I might make the avatar preview in settings take urls. It wouldn't scale or do any editing but it would make previewing easier.

Looks pretty bad IMO. Mainly because of the square. Here's a circle backdrop for the character that should look nicer:

Yes this is exactly what I was wondering, thank you Apple!!! I was looking at using the ellipse select tool in Gimp to make the image a circle. What I wanted is exactly what you have here where the hair overlaps the circle a little. How did you do that? Using ellipse tool clipped the hair when I did it. Thanks again for the help.

Hi Indy idk if this is the result of Linkify, but I noticed the "My Profile" link is missing, however, it can still be clicked.

Oh parfait Indy thank you so much!!! Looks awesome!!! My talents are as a writer so graphics and coding are above my pay grade. lol This is really fun to try as something different though. I'll grab the template and keep for use as a layer. Thanks very much. Now I just need to work on Photoshop/ Gimp skills to get the images/ circle thing down.
I noticed puush (or maybe rsof) doesn't show links 8(
