I was just suggesting this because I've misclicked (and/or unintentionally clicked) it a couple of times and I am used to clicking elsewhere on the page for the box to go away (or even pressing ESC, neither of which work). Maybe I am just lazy and closing interfaces on RuneScape with 'ESC' has gotten to me (which seems like the likely reason here), but I like the functionality of being able to close it whilst my mouse is elsewhere on the page, and without my clipboard being overriden.

I agree with Rowley about misclicks being annoying, but at the same time agree a bit more with Indy :S
Misclicking sucks, yes, but the chances of you misclicking it several times in a day are VERY slim. It has happened to me that I misclicked on it in the past, but it hasn't happened in weeks. Meh, I don't think it justifies the extra coding time.
In short, since misclicking happens on very rare occurrences you could just close it using the "X" without overriding your clipboard and it'd be easier than having Indy code a solution for it.
p.s: You know... I think I wouldn't mind having this button (http://puu.sh/c0WnD.png ) be a FEW pixels bigger tho!

Okay, I came up with a few improvements regarding quotes. Bear with me please because I've always been bad at expressing myself when it comes to suggestions
So this is it... these improvements would work more or less in conjunction.
Look at this screenie:

I think only the experienced would be able to tell I've quoted two posts there. My first suggestion is simple. For every post you quote, 2 blank lines are added. This would make it easier for the user to quote several posts at a time so that he can then reply to each of the posts individually.

For that feature to be even better, I suggest that quotes should persist across multiple pages. What do I mean? Well... Say I quoted Halomaster's post on this page. The post would then appear below in the "Add Quick reply" box. I'd then click on another post on this same page, the post would also appear in the "Add Quick reply" box (taking advantage of the 2 blank lines I mentioned earlier
). And FINALLY, I'd move to the next page and what I'd expect is for the two quotes I quoted earlier to reappear in the "Add Quick reply" box in the page I'm now on.
How would this benefit us?
Well... large threads would REALLY benefit from this, especially feedback threads where you have to defend your argument and reply to several people at a time across multiple pages. It'd even benefit YOU here on this thread when it comes to helping people out with their Linkify issues
I think that's it. If you have any questions then let me know! <3
