I've done two for you, not all computers will render the background colours in images the same way. This is may or may not even happen. However the only way to ensure uniformity is not to try to match the background colour, but make it transparent.

So I've given you a choice of three. (I'll delete what you don't end up using, but try them all on this thread if you wish).


Very basic explanation of the issue
(I have a feeling we've had a similar discussion on this before so I apologise if that's the case)

The png compression used in the avatar will differ from the compression used in these web page images. Sometimes there is no visible difference, sometimes only some users can see it. It's due to a number of things, software colour profiles, browser colour profiles, colour profiles embedded into images and more. Then is a bug that messes with images even more (I call it
The Thunder Bug
) and you can read about it and see images of it here .

I tested all three on different computer screens and 10493 comes out the best imo.

RS Linify forum stats will now displays weekly stats from here on. Will still be a coule of weeks before I have enough data for monthly stats though.

I still have a little more information to add but it's pretty much usable now. Can tell at a glance what's been happening on forums over the last 7 days.

These links can be shared and used anywhere, however there is some extra info on post 10 page one of this thread to show various options on how to directly link to specific stats.

The stats now have a permanent home on the first page of this thread, they update daily so they should be reasonably relevant and easily accessible.

Don't worry your old one will remain there. I never remove them unless asked.

Actually it was no trouble at all with your avatar. I was going through all the avatars in the gallery today and fixing up incorrectly sized ones and then removing all non pixel data from the avatars, and then re-compressing them.

So among all that, it was no trouble to give you a few variations since I was already working on them.

Anyway I'll remove 10492 and 10494 since they wont be needed.

I do like you old avatar (the text is nicely done) but your new one is pretty cool too :)

@Acko, I haven't made any changes to RS Linkify recently so I'm not sure why it's not working.

Removing and re-installing is your best option. Things like system restore break RS Linkify. It may pay to see if something is blocking or clashing with it too, by disabling all other extensions and seeing if that helps.

I suggest in future use the import/export settings under Miscellaneous Settings. That way you have a backup of your settings and can imported them at any time.
