Now getting back to Keighlea's question about titles and also Gecko's MEWP question...
Technically it's do-able, however the information (the title text or members since text) needs to be hidden in your post so RS Linkify can find it and apply it.
Something similar to the qfc system I use for avatars and god codes could be used, but that would mean lots of qfc being added to your posts. I feel I have used this system well beyond it's original purpose and I don't think it's a good idea to keep expanding on it.
My main concern is the qfc system would taken beyond it's original format, meaning if the correct format is ever required in the future (could happen any time) the codes will break. With the avatars and god codes the format for qfc is legit but extending it may be asking for trouble.
This actual subject has been discussed by Meredith and myself some time ago, the conclusion we came to was the same. It's just not practical, unless I bloat out QFCs.
I'd be happy to do it, if there is a better way.
Also @Keighlea, I have no clue what's going on with those images.
Perhaps something could be added in the settings pages, somewhere..
Like, allowing for a short bit of text to overwrite the Members Since bit, or possibly to go underneath it instead. Could this work in a similar way to how you over-writ the forum/thread titles the other day?
Has to do with a combination of a slow internet connection and Jagex's server being slow in general. It'll happen a lot when the page gets caught in the middle of both of them and it just kind of forgets to load the rest (avatars seem to be one of the last things loaded), nothing you can really do about it aside from just reloading the page. I'm not saying your connection is good or bad, but everyone's internet has it's valley moments at some point.
Shh...
No one will know...

@Amaethwr, I didn't go into much detail about it, but I'll try to explain it a little better.
Anything in your settings is accessible to you only. When someone views a post made by you, they can't read your settings (local storage) and in this case pull out and apply a custom title that you have saved.
For all to see it, the information must be embedded somewhere in your post. Think of the custom avatars, RS Linkify gets its instructions from the qfc in the post, not from the settings of the person who made the post.
Your suggestion would work in the sense that you'd see your custom title, but no one else would see it.
I could hard code players titles into RS Linkify (like mine), but that's far from ideal. I'd have to re-update RS Linkify for every new title and for every title change. If a player changed name it would stop working and I'd have to find the new name and re-update RS Linkify again. For obvious reasons I'm not going to do that.
I could also have a list of names and titles stored on my site and retrieve that info for every page that's loaded, and check for names and match them to their titles. However this isn't a good way to go. It will add to page load times, it will add to my server load, it will require constant updating (name changes, title changes).
So it comes back to the fact the info needs to be stored in the user's post, but I don't feel qfc is the way to go for the reason I gave earlier.
I'm not saying it's not possible, it's just I don't have an elegant or efficient method of doing it. I'm open to suggestions though
