@Blasty, as in they are numbered sequentially and not the number from the thread?

I hadn't really taken any notice of that tbh. I just made sure the Quick QFC generator worked when clicking the post number. I guess the numbers are a tally not a reference but I can change that.

Wow that refresh button feels faster now. What did you do?!

I guess the best way to explain it is, it's not a refresh, it's a reload, the difference being the browser uses all available cached resources when reopening the page.

The compromise is it realigns the page to the nearest anchor point of the last post. That might not be exactly where you were but it will be close. I think it's worth it for the speed boost and bandwidth reduction.

Why not use document.location.reload()


I did originally but doesn't always use cached resources, this way is noticeably faster.

Pass false instead of the default value (true) to force it to use the cache. I.E. document.location.reload(false)

Okay I'll try it again and see how it goes :)

Edit: try document.location.reload(false) in console, then click my refresh button and see the difference. I don't think I'll change back.
