With the new rules on the way (actually now here) I have had a few people say something similar to me recently.

Tbh I'm not keen to do it right now, for two reasons.

• Its a trial period, even though I think the new rules will become permanent, I don't think jumping in now is the way to go. It could all be for naught if things don't go well with the new rules.

• HLF is different, I don't have to defend myself here and I really like that. That means more to me than most people realise. I feel posting there will mean I have to deal with people thinking I have a hidden agenda or ulterior motives. I simply don't have the energy to deal with that right now.

Maybe I'm wrong about my last point. In time I'll rethink all this stuff. But for now I'm busily building more features into RS Linkify and I'm quite content having a single thread here. If word of mouth trickles down into the regular forums and I get new users I'll welcome them as I always have.

I just want to code and not worry about too much other stuff is all. HLF lets me do that :)

Opera's been updated and looks so nice in my opinion (hooray for dark theme), they're calling it Opera Reborn

Sidebar is optional and can choose what appears on it - kinda like a bookmarks bar, but for shortcuts to things in the browser like extensions/history/etc - and they've added facebook messenger and whatsapp to it as well, and you can resize the width of them and "dock" them on the side at the cost of less browsing space, or just open/close when needed.. While I won't use it for messaging, I get the reasoning for it:

Wow that's a pretty serious update. Looks really nice. I just read the stuff you linked to, there's some good changes for both users and developers. Thanks for the info, its much appreciated and definitely of interest to me. I'm going to check it out later and have a play around with it :)

I'm not around (in game) lately either. I haven't been in game for almost a week I think. Making this the only place where I can be found.

Almost done with new RS Linkify white list + some minor improvements with the blacklist. I hoped to have had it published by now but there is so much testing to do. When it comes to black and white lists, the forum image tag in combination with the plain text URLs has created much more work for me than I originally anticipated. I think I'm almost there :)

Sounds the same as me, aside from intelligent coding and stuff, though.

I do hope Linkify hasn't been keeping you away from the game, or at least you've been enjoying coding Linkify. Breaks are always good; and you should be enjoying yourself no matter what you do. It's important!
