Kalgs are only good for slayer, that's about it. However, slayer exp isn't the limiting factor. Hence combat exp is an emphasis so in that sense, Kalgerions aren't even in the top 5 or even top 10 tasks for magic exp (190 kills/h).

With vip tickets, and optimal prefer list - you only need to do 5 specific tasks and cancel rest. So Kalgerions aren't efficient.

Kalgerions are all right for being slayer exp efficient only.

Isn't Crystal Shapeshifters currently one of the best tasks in the game? Yes, they're definitely a great task for most people, just not for me personally.

I neglected gathering charms/other materials in order to compete for slayer ranks. Now that the competition is pretty much over (at least for me), I have to prioritize summoning/resources instead of the slayer/combat exp that the shapeshifters give plenty of.
