That is what the HLF started as. The F-mods didn't moderate here, they still don't unless it's breaks certain criteria that warrants immediate action. There was awhile that the HLF truly resembled a rubbish bin. That stopped when people started realizing getting a forum mute meant that you would lose access to the specialist forums including the HLF.

Watch your backs. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I saw CM Nick lurking about in the trees just beyond the forum's driveway.

Jagex is up to something, and it apparently required 7 months of undercover work.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to obey the rules again or just continue making up my own.

jagex did care about these forums way back when. certainly they did around 2002-2007, the forums were very busy back then. forum mods getting hired a lot, myself included, saw behind the scenes a bit there, meeting at my POH with jmods, etc. there was a focus on community. then reddit, facebook, etc. turned up, direction shifted, MTX came, and the forums i suppose were seen as a time and money sink for little return. such is the way of the world, it seems to be. substance sacrificed at the pursuit of other things - usually money.

wonder where mod dave is at these days. Again, nether.

Great guy and helped me a lot when I was struggling a little.

Been wondering where he is too. Hope He's doing well.

the days of mod dave in the POHs with the other jmods and all the fmods, sitting around mahogany tables discussing forums and catching up. always recall dave was rather 'to the point'! this must've been 2005/2006 when the forums were exceptionally busy. back when the game had a sense of togetherness, it's a shame how it has ended up but such is the way of the world now. i don't recall anyone caring much about xp rates back then and clans were all the rage.

not sure who fmods are now but i have a suspicion that 'my wiz in me' is Wizardio04. if so, let him know from me please that Cup Cake 04 says hello, if he's still active :) Again, nether.
