That's not a QoL change that's a massive change to the entire's skill's premise and balancing.
Not if you couldn't do it in combat, or if you had to be in a 'safe' place to do it, like how Spellbook Swap works.

When Invention was developed one of its premises was that you'd have multiple of the same weapon with different perks on each one to make each of them appropriate for different situations - it was a way of Jagex 'sinking' extra weapons by forcing players to have multiple of the same weapon for different scenarios.
If you can put all your perks on one weapon and freely switch between them then you are no longer forced to buy multiple weapons; which changes the balancing and premise of the skill.
Therefore, it would be a premise/balancing change, and not a simple QoL fix. I'm not saying I disagree with the idea, just pointing out that it's not a 'QoL' change.

I don't disagree with you. Owning multiples of the same weapon sucks.
However, I'm pointing out that's it's not QoL. It's a quite significant balancing change. (I.e. it removes the need for you to own multiples of the same weapon.)

A quicker way to quick switch my ring of kinship would be greatly appreciated.
I'd enjoy having the ability to use a mining animation other than the base animation while in a dg floor. Currently using anything other than the base animation you perform the entire animation cycle simply to complete an action that is normally done in 1 tick.
Fix the glitch where dg bosses sometimes don't drop an item. Its extremely demoralizing to kill a boss only to have it glitch out and drop nothing.
Make it so blinks special "magic in ya face" consistently gets canceled after he is dead. Dying after you've killed the boss is silly.
Remove the cut scenes from the beginning of dreadnaut and kalger.
Stomp is annoying enough when things go well. Having only one or even no crystals fall is completely unecessary.
I'd love if some of the RNG surrounding failure was removed for some of the puzzles in dg as well. Few things are as frustrating as being bitten by the damnable ferret, or the pond skater refusing to take the bait!
I'm not entirely sure if graphics fall under QoL but the candy cane lava has bugged me since NXT release.

There's a lot more small things that'd be nice to have in a dungeon, but I doubt we'll see even any of the above implemented.

How about remove all sounds from other people's familiars (I really find it annoying to listen to someone's chaos elemental pet). In addition remove all sounds from other people's idle animations (the random clap is jarring at best).

Being given a million dollars is a significant change, but it's still a quality of life improvement for me.
