Pretty much.

Maxing out and tons of exp stopped being special after the mentality changed and that was yearssss ago.

And became even less so when the content started matching the mentality (one of the reasons I stopped playing tbh.) Too much exp given out, too much afk etc. End game has been made EXTREMELY feasible. Every bit of challenge has been removed in favor of keeping players sedated and creating goals.

after you max at 99, everything else is just pointless for exp.....

120 is a cheap way to move the goalpost...

I stick to phats If you are willing to chuck your most precious possessions like phats because someone said words like crashing/dying/quitting and then find yourself unable to rebuy for what you sold for, then you don't deserve to own a phat.

The issue is that people used to train to unlock material. There really is no worthy material to unlock. For example, people trained herb to unlock extremes. To just get extra capes really is not incentive. Also, just to have an occasional boss really is not true endgame content. To actually have something you continue to unlock material (like with the dung floors) would be a hell of lot more fun. To me anyways. But that would be too much work for the jmods. Phats is just gp which, to be honest, is easy to obtain. If you are actually good with the game.

as the guy in the animated rune armour place says (best advice on RS ive ever received, from any NPC or player) "do nothing which is of no use"

throwing 10b logs onto a fire for no in game buff, bonus or benefit certainly falls under the "of no use" category.

at a certain point both money and xp become pointless, and thats a GOOD THING!

for me it means i can now just relax and play the game as i see fit, bar completionist stuff to keep my (totally functionally useful and beneficial to my chosen reason to play -i.e. killing things for fun) comp cape
