Their life revolves around the internet. If they had a rl they would not have time to play much. Tbh... it's not that hard to get high XP while focusing on irl. Most of my 3.5B XP has been from afking things while doing uni study, etc. May not be the most efficient methods or anything, but I don't care at all. Still ended up at the same place as others, while keeping my focus on irl.

True. Plus some players afk this game while playing more interesting games. ;)

Not true at all. XP is ridiculously easy to get these days. It does not require many sacrifices in life to achieve. You can still have a perfectly-capable life whilst playing this game and achieving whatever it is you achieve. This is because of how easy XP has become. If XP was hard, 200m all would require you to give up parts, or all, of your life to have a remote chance of achieving it.

The whole "high xp = no life" is old and no longer works for RS3. .

Its all perception? We put valye intot hings becase others or a community does. such as "because everyone else thinks its a big deal or not a big deal then i shall think that too" which imo is fucking dumb. those who say its devalued or doesnt mean anything most likely wont ever get the max xp or comp trim mqc or watever because its all about discipline and keeping to something. its sort of like self worth or self accomplishment. the idea and concept of competition ruins alot for example, highscores and such.

as far as jagex releasing certain content ppl feel make it eaiser or devalues the game is also bullshit because jsut because something is there doesnt ean u have to deal with it / use it / partake / etc. to those who will say well then i cant compete with the bst or i feel like i falling ehind or watever thats ur own fault thats the way u feel about ur account.

to say that a couple hundred people on a game thats been out for a long time have max xp isnt meaningful or devalued or not an accomplishmet etcis mind boggling. and i hope u can find happiness somewhere in life and wish u the best of luck on ur endeavors. just my opinion and ur enittled to urs Co-Owner of Stormguard...the bird is the word.

I am not so worried about stuff being devalued. I am just a person who believes hobbies or games should be something that is actually fun. In a way, yes fighting bosses is fun. But it gets boring, to me, when the strategy has already been figured out and you begin to just fight for the boss for drop and gp. I gained my gp years ago and am not so interested in beating bosses anymore. I actually prefer stuff like doing Dungeoneering Dungeons where you get something different every time you enter. It kind of got boring now, because it is easy for me. I would love to have a raid which is like doing a Dungeon. Where you enter with nothing and have to acquire and make your own suppies vs already having everything when entering.

^ see what u are saying is ur own situation about things. where u want it to be fun and such wich is wat i feel as well but we have to put our own spin on things to create our own fun cuz wat u find fun isnt fun to others. thats jsut obcious but yes there are the elitists who boss figure stuff out fast and may ruin the expirience a little for u for a boss fight but i feel u just gotta raise ur threshold a little for fun or things becoming boring, repeating things for sure gets boring but i guess for me i can find ways ot make it fun, i have 997 days of game time and not even close to bored burnt out. also i dont really need ppl to enjoy the game with, if it happens its a bonus and tis a great time but its not neccassary for me yo have ppl on for me to paly.

elite dgs are coming out so that might fuel u a bit. and about the making money from back in day i was same way, i lived comfortably on rs, not rich not poor, through slayer, bossing skilling etc i found ways ot make da monies.

overall im a little saddened by the shift in gaming in general with everything now becoming esports, holy shit gains try hard go go go sniffing g fuel and such so i try to stay as much of the same player as i once was so i dont lose the snese of ejoyment this game brought me from day 1 to day 10000 and beyond.

also [joke] helps being an awesome skill on rs :D i help all comers, skillers pvmers! i work so well with my best bud slayer Co-Owner of Stormguard...the bird is the word.

wat do u mean lol - elite slayer i feel was a relatively bad update besides the level cap, i didnt mind the 120 cap but the monsters and content was sub par imo, tis why i dont do it or aprtake other then my own slayer dg.

elite dgs seem pretty cool along with e rewards u will be able to get.

another overal issue imo is mechanics, mechanics for everything being released as far as combat and i know i might be in the majority with this opinion but i ejoy gwd1 still even if u think its not worth it. vindicta is the only gwd2 boss i like and after i 5.4 i will still slay/reaper/camp things such as abyssal demons. Co-Owner of Stormguard...the bird is the word.

Back when Suomi tried his hardest not to max xp it was a fun goal to watch players like my self would never get there. Past the first page it's not even something I notice anymore. Bonus xp killed all xp related milestones.

Remember when Suomi got messed up when he passed 3bil total experience? They had to fix some code to fix his account. Actually by Suomi things with experience were already getting stupid. Remember comp was already out and things like Runespan were already out. Heck, I got from 91 to 99 rc in 3 days and was actually having fun when it got released. Not to mention SOF was out too.
