Forums in general have died really. Reddit and other forms of social media make forums quite irrelevant, they certainly get far more JMod interraction.

Like everyone else has said, the forums have pretty much died. There used to be hundreds of players on all the time and now the max I see is 30. Jagex needs to do a complete overhaul on the forums and make them more attractive again. Roller skater!

*Forum system is outdated.
*Over moderation (outside of HLF) results in people not bothering with the RSOF at all, ergo no interest in unlocking HLF.
*Jmods completely ignore everything here in favor of reddit and twitter.

Why and how the forum is dying is far less perplexing than if it weren't dying.
