Could this skillcape in particular be changed to provide a useful perk? a "chance" to auto collect all herbs from a patch is not very useful at all.
Some thoughts;
-(while worn) all farming locations do not catch disease
- (while worn) chance to double your gathering item at no extra cost to tick
- At the very least, 100% chance to collect all herbs from a farming plot
- Teleport to all unlocked farming locations (instead of needing tons of tele items)
The reason I suggest a change is because this is probably one of the least useful perks on skillcapes.. Mining one for example gives a permanent % perk.
The perk isn't bad - it's just too unreliable. When it notes part of your loot the effect was invalidated since you need to manually note the remainder - so two possible solutions:
- You only get one chance of having your stuff harvested and noted, but with a higher chance than now. This certainly shouldn't be 100 %.
- You still have a chance to harvest and note the remainder on each attempt, but if the effect procs it notes everything you've already harvested of the same type.
If it doesn't proc, it doesn't proc - but no matter which solution was used it couldn't proc in a way, which makes the proc itself useless.

im aware of this i havent done a herb run since 2011. but i know many people still do them
To be honest I don't agree that people do farm runs for GP in 2019.
You can go kill regular slayer mobs and make more gp hourly and gain vast amounts of XP in comparison to the .. maybe 400k/hour profit of farming herbs?
It just seems crazy to me that almost all other skillcape perks have a permanent perk when the farming one has a proc perk. In my experience, it doesn't even proc often so I never wear the farming cape if i'm doing herb runs (which again, in 2019, I don't understand why anyone would?)

I agree, only let the perk proc on 1st herb harvested, if failed to proc, then it won't for the remaining herbs from that patch. Of course, increase the chance to compensate. It sucks when it procs on like the 2nd last herb of the patch.

You do know that not everyone is into PvM, right? That "skillers" exist?
And these skillers are earning 12 times as much gp doing rc, or 5 times as much afking at incans. Not even skillers find herb runs worthwhile.
